It has been a big week of big snow numbers in North America this week with resorts sending athletes up in helicopters and closed to the public chairlifts to capture first track powder snow.

Mammoth Mountain received over 30 inches (66cms) and announced they will open today, Thursday (a week early). Revelstoke received a metre in less than a week and Jackson Hole is at 20 plus inches (50cms) and still counting.

Meanwhile it continues to snow in Colorado. Telluride posted this snow video snippet.
