You’re welcome.

.

Of course I’d love to post mine but, well, you’re on it already, and as my mother used to say “don’t be so up yourself Rachael.”

Still Stoked – great for chicks that rip

Alexa Hohenberg

Alexa Hohenberg is a rockstar. Seriously. Heli and cat snowboard guide, surfer, writer, producer, the lot. This adventure chick is the name behind Still Stoked a blog site for women in action sports. Content is divided into chosen sports (skiing, snowboarding, surfing, mountain biking, skating and more) and you can choose to peruse lifestyle and travel content for action chicks too. We love her “what’s in my backcountry pack” feature.

Snowatch – great for forecasts and cams

Pete ‘the frog’ Taylor was the original snow forecast blogger, publishing his forecasting on the internet long in 1999 long before Blogspot and WordPress launched. His Snowatch site focuses on snow forecasts in Australia with 5 day, 10 day and 15 day forecasts for each resort plus news from the ski resorts. We love his page of web cams, all the resorts on the one page of live cams.

The Snow Gauge – great for industry debate

Glenn Cullen

Glenn Cullen is a seasoned sports journalist with the team at Australia Associated Press. We’ve lost count of how many Olympics, summer and winter, he’s reported on. He’s a former editor of Australia and New Zealand skiing magazine and now bangs out a blog on The Snow Gauge, his dedicated site for all things snow industry. We love his sartorial musings on this $4000 snow jacket

Big World Little Cat – great for behind the scenes

Alex Parsons is a snowboard instructor who works back to back winters in the southern and northern seasons. She’s been posting notes from her snow road since 2014 on her blog Big World Little Cat with behind the scenes style features on what it’s like to work as a snowboard instructor in Australia, Korea and Japan. We love her “the good the bad the ugly of working at the Winter Olympics” blog post.

The Snowchasers – great for saving to travel

Jen and Mick Quante

Jen and Mick Quante are an Aussie married couple on the snow road and currently based in Queenstown New Zealand. He’s an optometrist by trade and she’s a web designer and digital marketer, together they make up The Snow Chasers with tips on how to stretch or save your dollar so you too can spend more time chasing snow. We love their blog “how to work less and travel more” because we all want to do that.
