Snow Australia released a statement this afternoon regarding the Interschools Events for 2020 in the current coronavirus climate.

The organisation has chosen to cancel all New South Wales and Queensland Interschools Events planned for the July school holiday period (July 4 to July 19).

“Snow Australia places the safety, health and well-being of its competitors, volunteers, parents and school communities as our prime focus” says the statement.

“We recognise the pressures that schools are currently experiencing and supporting Principals, School Snowsports Coordinators, Staff and Students is our highest priority.”

There are currently no planned changes to the Victorian Interschools Events.
