It was back to back podiums for Laura Peel last night as she stepped up to the first place on the FIS World Cup podium in Minsk, Belarus after her silver in Moscow last week.

The aerial skier from Canberra qualified third for the aerial skiing event before taking first place in the first final of twelve with a back lay tuck full and a score of 98.68.

Peel went next level in the second final of six with a back full tuck full and a huge score of 106.53 to take the top position.
 

Mengtau Xu of China took silver (95.06) and Sicun Xu also from China took bronze (87.92)

Peel is now sitting second in the world in the FIS World Cup standings with two more FIS World Cup aerial events currently scheduled this season.
