It can be tricky to find a true local from Aspen – but Michael ‘Mikey’ Wechsler is one. He’s lived in this Colorado heritage ski town for 38 years. You’ll find him working at The Red Onion (an Aspen bar institution that’s been operating since 1892) by night and on skis by day.

Weschler is known for skiing the most days possible each winter, so you know you’re in good hands with his tips for Aspen.

We gave him 14 questions in 60 seconds. This is what he answered.
