Pendry Hotels and Columbus Pacific have announced plans to open Pendry Park City and Pendry Residences Park City at the base of Park City Mountain, located in the heart of Canyons Village.

Designed by SB Architects and IBI Group, the ski-in, lift-out resort and residences will open for winter 2021. Located 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, Pendry Park City will serve as a vibrant luxury basecamp for discovery in Park City and Canyons Village.

Situated at the entrance to Park City, Pendry Park City will bring artistic influence, innovative cuisine, intimate gathering places and the ultimate in relaxation and unparalleled experiences to Canyons Village. The year-round mountain resort boasts more than 7,300 acres of skiable terrain and with the Pendry opening, will add 150 guestrooms, suites and residences.

Pendry Park City will feature four unique lounge, restaurant and bar experiences perfectly suited for every après-skier or snowboarder’s preference. The resort will have the only rooftop pool and bar in the area upon opening, as well as an inspired Japanese-American restaurant that will offer mountain fare, steaks and chops, along with Japanese standards of sushi and ramen.

To round out the amenities, Pendry Park City guests and residents will also have access to a rec room with relaxed American cuisine and arcade games as well as Spa Pendry with eight treatment rooms; a fitness center; Pinwheel Kids Club and more than 7,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, including a 4,000-square-foot ballroom.

“We are honored to partner with Columbus Pacific to bring Pendry Park City to life. This location in Canyons Village will provide guests a contemporary retreat created with respect for alpine warmth and tradition—a place that we hope will redefine the future of mountain living and hospitality,” said Michael Fuerstman, co-founder and creative director, Pendry Hotels.

“Pendry is the ideal brand partner for this project,” said Brian Shirken, president, Columbus Pacific. “We spent a lot of time thinking about the caliber and quality we wanted for this development and ultimately, Pendry represents the service, architecture and experience that will bring a distinctive offering to both guests and residents.”

The property is part of the larger upper village master plan and will become the social hub of Canyons Village at its debut.
