Get excited, skiers and snowboarders in New South Wales will be able to travel overseas with no quarantine upon return. You read that right, none, nada, zilch, no quarantine in hotels or at home.

From November 1 if you are a fully vaccinated international traveller arriving in New South Wales then you are not required to quarantine upon arrival.

You will need to show proof that you’ve received a TGA approved vaccine and a negative Covid-19 test prior to boarding your flight to Sydney.

The New South Wales Premier, Dominic Perrottet, announced the news today. Since March last year, travellers have previously needed to quarantine in a hotel for two weeks at their own expense.

All other states international borders will remain closed at this stage and are also closed to New South Wales.

If you are not fully vaccinated then you will be required to hotel quarantine in a reduced number of hotel spots being offered weekly.

More to come.
