The snow cat turned hotel for romantic lovers in Europe

This may look like a groomer, it may sound like a groomer and it may move like a groomer but don’t be fooled by it’s Pisten Bully exterior, this little baby is a hotel for one, well, two.

The Over the Moon hotel is the brainchild of those lovers of love, the French. You’ll find it at La Plagne ski area and if you want to crawl under those animal print faux fur covers and get jiggy with it then all you need is Euro 320 (and someone willing to crawl under with you).

The groomer will pick you up at 9pm and take you to the top of the Arpette. The driver then takes a skidoo back down and voila, you and yours are alone to enjoy the night and sleep under the stars (kind of) at 2400 metres altitude.

Come dawn the driver comes back to before the resort opens (could be awkward if not) and takes the groomer back down with you in it.

You’ll have a mini bar, queen size bed, heating, tea and coffee machine, led lights, flat screen tv and access to a private spa bath with a view of Mont Blanc.

You can book it via the resort website.
