Fancy seeing the TGR new release film, Winterland, at the same time as the USA release? Well, now you can.

Winterland, presented by The North Face, will premiere September 20 at the Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace, Cremorne in Sydney. Screenings will then be held across Australia and New Zealand.

Winterland is a celebration of ski and snowboard culture. TGR filmmakers collaborated with 23 of the world’s most accomplished freeskiers and snowboarders to make the film, showcasing some of the most thrilling and extreme footage captured by the company in its 22 years of production.

The film also celebrates the athletes’ connection to the roots of skiing and snowboarding, while showcasing the pure joy and adventure associated with these sports. By exploring the history, places, and people in the world of skiing and snowboarding, filmgoers will learn how intimately connected the athletes are with those who came before.

Athletes featured in the film include Angel Collinson, Christina Lustenberger, Cody Townsend, Colter Hincliffe, Elyse Saugstad, Ian McIntosh, Jeremy Jones, Johnny Collinson, Sage Cattabriga Alosa, Sam Smoothy and Tim Durtschi.

Screenings will be held in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane and Hobart as well as Bright, Geelong, Launceston, Falls Creek and Mt Buller.

In New Zealand they will be held in Auckland, Matakana, Christchurch, Wellington, Moteuka, Dunedin, Tauranga, Taupo, Wanaka, Queenstown, Rotorua.
