Perisher will officially open tomorrow for the start of the ski season with the Village 8 Express lift operating on Front Valley. The resort has announced that 11 lifts will operate from Saturday morning across Perisher Valley and Smiggin Holes and two terrain parks will be built and ready to ride.

Friday 5 June
Lifts: Village Eight Express and Carpet 3 will open on normal opening times.
Terrain Parks: Playstation Slopestyle Park will be open

From Saturday 6 June
11 lifts are expected to operate (normal opening times) for skiing and boarding:

Perisher Valley
· Village Eight Express
· Perisher Express Quad to Mid Station
· Mitchell T-Bar
· Sturt T-Bar
· Tom Thumb JBar
· Carpet 2
· Carpet 3
· Carpet 4

Smiggin Holes
· Harry’s and Hermans Skier Conveyor
· Zoe’s Skier Conveyor
· Cook JBar

Terrain Parks:
· Two Terrain Parks will be open. Playstation Slopestyle Park on Front Valley with new features and the Yabby Flat Park.

Great tobogganing and snow play opportunities will be available in a designated and groomed snow play area at Tubetown and there will be some great entertainment around the resort with The Peak Festival kicking off on Friday night.
