Are you a snow angel? Share the snow love and win

Thredbo encourages first timers to the snow this winter. Be a snow angel and nominate virgin snowbies to win a Thredbo holiday.

Remember before you ‘knew’ snow? When you were oblivious to the joy of powder, the freedom of floating on skis and snowboards? Maybe that’s you now.

Now you and your family can win that feeling or you can nominate a family of your choice thanks to Thredbo’s Snow Angel initiative.

One lucky family will win a magical first time at the snow with two nights of accommodation, daily breakfast, lift passes and ski and snowboard hire plus lessons.

Just nominate yourself or another family on the Thredbo website to be in the running.

Thredbo is where Torah Bright got her first turns at the age of two and look where those turns got her, on the podium at the X Games and the Winter Olympics with gold and silver in her pocket.

To celebrate, the resort has launched the Torah Bright Beginner Package for 2015 with a third day free and on sale until June 5. You’ll get a beginner lift pass for day 1 and an all mountain lift pass for day 2 and onwards plus three lots of two hour group lessons or three hour group kids lessons and three day hire of skis, poles and boots or snowboard and boots. All this from AU$322 per person.

Thredbo ski resort is deep in the heart of Australia’s Snowy Mountains, six hours drive south of Sydney and is a beginner’s dream with an alpine village, ski school, day care, dedicated beginner terrain with chairlift and a smooth transition from beginner to intermediate slopes to grow the confidence naturally.

But it’s not just for those that want to ski and snowboard. The Thredbo snow play park is free for guests and open daily for tubing, tobogganing, snow play and snowman building. If you don’t own any snow play equipment or have appropriate snow gear you can hire a tube, toboggan and all your snow apparel from Thredbo Sports rental, located close to the Snow Play Park.

In the meantime…do you think you know more about the snow than these kids?
