Mt Buller and Mt Stirling to officially reopen on Friday

With Regional Victoria out of lockdown from 11.59pm on Thursday this week, Buller Ski Lifts has announced they will open this Friday.

The resort will roll up to eight lifts for regional skiers and boarders from Friday morning including ABOM, Wombat, Bull Run, The Fox, Koflers and Bourke Street lifts.

Mt Buller has a fair to good soft spring cover with between 25-64cms on the runs open.

Mt Stirling has up to 20cms on the upper mountain areas with the snow line around 5 kilometres from Telephone Box Junction.

The instructor team at the Ski and Snowboard School are pulling back on their blue jackets with private lessons available on demand at discounted rates of up to 25% off for the Spring reopening.

All visitors from regional Victoria must show a negative COVID test taken within the previous 72 hours of arrival at the resort in order to enter.

Children under 12 years do not require a test. Resort staff and residents are strongly encouraged to ensure they are tested before returning.

Resort Management will be staffing the resort entry gate 24/7 ready to check negative COVID tests and welcome staff and visitors back to the resort for Friday’s reopening.  Car park shuttle services (8am – 6pm) and Ride Share (7am – midnight) are set to resume.

Guests must provide proof address when asked at venues, follow all the COVID safe operations, wear masks, social distance, check in with QR codes and sanitise.

Visitors are not permitted from Metro Melbourne and Greater Shepparton as per the government guidelines.
