Mt Buller and Mt Stirling have tonight announced that they remain open to visitors “who are permitted to travel pending further government advice.”

Lifts will operate on Thursday, August 6 when regional Victoria will have entered Stage 3 restrictions. Melbourne residents currently in Stage 4 lockdown are prohibited from travel.

Regional Victorians must abide by the four permissible reasons for leaving home under the Stage 3 travel restrictions in effect from 11.59am Wed 5 August. The DHHS has stated on their website today that cross country skiing is permissable as excercise if in your region.

The resort also made the announcement on their Instagram Story this evening.
