The million dollar plus heli ski trip that you must invite me on

If money is no object, if you’re a gazillionaire, if you’ve embezzled your tax dollars to an off shore account, if you won Powerball or if you’re on someone else’s tab and want to go heli skiing then this, my powder friends, is the trip for you.

James Orr Heliski in exclusive partnership with ‘SuperYachtsMonaco’ has launched the ultimate heliskiing trip to Greenland based on a luxury super yacht that’s specially adapted to Arctic conditions. Yes, you read that right. This is heli skiing on serious steroids wrapped in gold with diamonds falling from the sky. It is obnoxious? Hell, yes.

The MV Cloudbreak sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms and takes a crew of 22. Uh, that’s a guest to staff ratio of almost two staff per guest. Expect some supreme service.

With a helipad, maximum speed of 15 knots and a range of 8,500 nautical miles, it’s the ultimate base for a remote heliskiing adventure for those seeking a ‘Bondesque’ experience. That last sentence came direct from their press release, there will be no Bond girls on the yacht, just boss girls chartering it for themselves and inviting me, right?

Guests (and me) will fly directly from the ship with mountain guides and be dropped on some of the most inaccessible mountains in the world. After experiencing multiple heli drops through the day, they are flown back to relax in the Christian Liaigre designed interior where gourmet meals and fine wines will be served. Not sure who Christian is, but you can be guaranteed he’s expensive.

The whole experience costs around £1 million per week depending on requirements and when split between the maximum amount of guests, this makes it over £83,000 per person.

That’s AU$1.75 million dollars

or $145 000 per person

Cheap at half the price

“This really is the ultimate experience for the wealthy adventure seekers out there. Heliskiing has a reputation for being expensive, and despite the fact we have heliskiing holidays costing around £2,000 per person, this one is on the other end of the scale completely” says James Orr, creator of this beast of a heli experience who clearly has more money than I do.

“Greenland is a spectacular place to ski and the remoteness means that it’s possible to drop onto unclimbed mountains and make first descents. The ship itself is like a cross between the most advanced military hardware on the sea and a luxury 5* hotel, it really is completely unique” – so if a war breaks out while we’re heli skiing then we’re safer than most, right?

Dates: April and May, 2019

Cost: from £1 million including 7 nights’ accommodation, food, private helicopter, guide, staff

Want in: We’ll give you the link to book if you include me, no really, oh, ok, here it is, in good faith of course, we do expect your invite call. Heliski.co.uk
