Club Med has announced plans to develop a new resort in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, their second resort in Eastern Canada, following the success of Club Med Québec Charlevoix.
The proposed resort will sit on the Versant Soleil side, on part of the L’Hymne-des-Trembles site and feature 300 high-end rooms.
The overall development project is spearheaded by Brivia Group, a renowned real estate developer known for landmark projects that blend contemporary elegance, architectural excellence, and refined design.
Club Med will lead the development of the hospitality aspect of this integrated project, with Brivia focusing on delivering the residential phases of L’Hymne-des-Trembles, ensuring a strong and seamless integration between the residential and tourism elements of the site.
“Club Med has long been recognised as a global leader in ski holidays, and this project in Mont Tremblant marks an exciting next step in that journey,” said Michelle Davies, General Manager for Club Med Pacific and New ESAP Markets.
“We’re continuing to see record breaking demand for our resorts worldwide including for Quebec Charlevoix with sales for the 2025/2026 ski season up 35% across the Pacific market. This demonstrates the appetite for premium all-inclusive holidays in Canada amongst travellers with Mont Tremblant allowing us to service this newfound demand.
“With Mont Tremblant holding a strong reputation as a four-season destination, this project perfectly aligns with our demographic of families and active couples. Whether it’s skiing in winter or an outdoor adventure in summer, this new resort represents another opportunity for travellers to experience our premium all-inclusive ski offering in one of Canada’s most iconic destinations.”
The project is expected to bring a significant boost to the region, creating hundreds of jobs and supporting local businesses through partnerships in excursions, services, and local sourcing. Around half of the resort’s staff will be housed on-site, helping integrate the project into the wider Mont Tremblant community.
From the beginning, the parties prioritised close collaboration with the city of Mont-Tremblant, demonstrating a clear commitment to ensuring the project’s harmonious integration into its natural, social, and cultural environment.
If approved, construction could begin in 2026 with a planned opening in December 2028. The resort would become Club Med’s second Canadian property following the success of Club Med Québec Charlevoix, which opened in 2021 and has already welcomed more than 130,000 guests.
