A 22 year old skier at Thredbo died in an accident on Tuesday just after midday. Emergency services and Thredbo Ski Patrol and medical team attended the scene but the young man had died at the scene.
The ABC reports that the man lost control on the blue Dream Run, crashing into rocks.
Thredbo Alpine Resort said in a statement, “Thredbo is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of a skier at Thredbo Alpine Resort on September 2.
The Thredbo community extends its heartfelt condolences to family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.”
The Thredbo fatal accident comes just weeks after the death of 22 year-old American, Drew Youngquist, at Perisher.
