Australia’s skiers and snowboarders can now tap into the inside secrets, stories and tales from life on the competition road and in the ski industry with the launch of the Above the Snow podcast this week.

This fireside style podcast is hosted by free skier, Tim Gale who was a co-founder of Aussieskier.com retail and both a freestyle ski coach and athlete manager.

Gale sits down with his famous guests to explore where the snow bug began, as well as telling some great stories of their adventure from all over the globe.

“It is amazing to be able to sit down and explore each guest’s fascinating story,” says Gale. “People with a common passion, who have had such vast array of adventures following their passion all over the globe.”

The first two episodes are now available and feature two of Australia’s top female Winter Olympians, boarder cross athlete Belle Brockhoff and skier cross athlete Sami Kennedy-Sim. Both have fascinating stories overcoming adversity to FIS World Cup podiums.

Third episode is out today with Olympic aerial skiing silver medalist, David Morris.

You can subscribe to Above the Snow on Apple Podcasts and on Spotify.
