Fancy some Alaskan adventure? If you’re on the Ikon Pass, well, now you can.

Alyeska Resort has joined the pass for winter 2023/2024 so you can hit up the Alaskan playground in the Chugach State Park.

Expect glacier filled vistas and Northern Lights as you ski and board 1610 acres of terrain across 76 trails. Best of all? An average of 669 inches (17 metres) of snowfall per year.

Foodies will love the Seven Glacier AAA Four Diamond Award restaurant on site with views of the seven hanging glaciers, alongside six other dining experiences on offer.

“We are thrilled to expand into Alaska and invite the Ikon Pass community to discover Alyeska Resort,” said Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer, Alterra Mountain Company.

“Alyeska Resort is truly an iconic destination with its storied terrain, stunning views, scenic tram and adventurous atmosphere.”

For the 23/24 season, Ikon Pass holders will have access to seven days at Alyeska Resort with no blackout dates, and Ikon Base Pass holders will have access to five days, with select blackout dates. Alyeska Resort is also available on the Ikon Session Pass.

“Alyeska Resort is proud to partner with Ikon Pass. This partnership creates exciting new opportunities for U.S. and international guests to experience the grandeur of winter in Alaska,” said Ryan Pomeroy, owner, Alyeska Resort.

“Not only will Ikon Pass holders experience Alyeska’s premier skiing and riding, they’ll also be able to rejuvenate at the 50,000 square foot Alyeska Nordic Spa, enjoy exceptional dining options, and experience many other outdoor activities, all from the comfort of our chateau-style resort accommodations.”
