Australia’s budding Olympians and Paralympians have swept the FIS World Cup medal board this weekend with two golds, three silvers and a bronze across multi disciplines.

Belle Brockhoff went into the weekend with SBX silver in Montafon, Austria on Friday local time while mogul skier Jakara Anthony took bronze at Idre in Sweden on Saturday local time (off the back of silver in Ruka the week before).

In Finland aerial skiers Danielle Scott and Laura Peel won gold and silver while mono bob competitor, Bree Walker also took her third straight medal of the season finishing in second place at the IBSF World Series event in Winterberg, Germany.

Meanwhile Paralympian Ben Tudhope won gold at the paracross world cup season opener at Pelkosenniemi’s Pyhätunturi in Lapland.

The current world cup rankings have Danielle Scott in fourth place and Laura Peel in fifth for aerials, Belle Brockhoff third in boardercross, Jakara Anthony first with the yellow bib in moguls and Bree Walker ranked fifth in monobob.

2018 Olympic silver medallist Matt Graham was unable to compete in finals, after suffering a shoulder injury in training. Graham has since been assessed and is likely to require surgery in the coming days.

Australia has more opportunities for medals tonight in Europe, with World Cup events taking place in dual moguls and Bree Walker racing in the two-woman bobsleigh with breakwoman Kiara Reddingius.
