The New South Wales Paramedics have confirmed today that a helicopter has crashed in Wilsons Valley in the Snowy Mountains.

The ABC is reporting that five people were on board the chopper at the time of the accident and that one person has critical leg injuries. The helicopter crash site is near Guthega Power Station.

Jindabyne social media groups have reported a number of emergency crews heading into Kosciuszko National Park.

The ABC has also confirmed four emergency services crew including a Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter is attending.
