We’re loving the social media games being played in British Columbia in Canada right now as the province’s ski resorts partake in an impromptu “snow dance off.”

While the snow season kicked off with mega snow fall in Europe, Canada’s early season has been left waiting to kick in.

The resort social media teams have been having a ball snow dancing and throwing out the challenge to their competitors. And in true Canadian style, it’s all been done with good humour (and even some new snow).

Red Resort near Rossland were the first to kick it off with a snow dance on Instagram before SilverStar took up the challenge.

SilverStar followed up with a challenge to Sun Peaks to dance like no one is watching to bring in the snow.

Then Sun Peaks followed suit with their own snow dance and threw the gauntlet down to Revelstoke to do the same.

Revelstoke obliged and passed the baton on to Panorama.

By the time it got to Panorama snow had already been falling across the Province, but that didn’t stop them dancing for more.

They’ve thrown out the challenge to Fernie, who spent opening day skiing powder (so it must have been working).

Let’s see what Fernie comes up with.
