Coalition Snow will launch a Kickstarter campaign on March 8 to fund its first YOUth line of skis and snowboards, building gear to help younger generations pursue their passions, reach their goals, find their voice, and stake their claim in the mountains.

It’s no coincidence that the launch date aligns with International Women’s Day, a day that recognizes women for their economic, political and social achievements.

As a female-founded company, Coalition Snow continues to be committed to elevating womens’ voices and setting a new industry standard by creating opportunities for women to take ownership over their snow sports experiences.

“Over the years, we’ve been listening to women of all ages tell us what inspires them to get out on the snow. What we’ve heard has been consistent: our time in the mountains boosts our confidence, builds community, and imprints life-long values. And we all know how important it is to experience these moments early on in life because they help to define who we are today,” says Jen Gurecki, co-founder and CEO Coalition Snow.

“That’s why we’re ready to take the next step in the evolution of Coalition Snow and launch a line of skis and snowboards designed for the next generation of women leading the charge.”

Like the adult line of skis and snowboards, Coalition Snow’s YOUth skis and snowboards will feature the same high-quality materials and construction. While integrating feedback from parents and kids, the all-female Coalition Snow team’s vision for a YOUth line was to help younger rippers progress, grow, and most importantly, have fun.

But this isn’t just about new planks of wood. It’s about showing girls that they can be anything they want to be, do anything they want to do and make their stories one to be heard. Coalition Snow is sending a message to young women that it’s not about keeping up or going bigger, it’s about finding joy in every turn, creating your own rules, and claiming skiing and snowboarding as your own sport.

“In our tiny corner of the world, in this snow globe that we call home, this is our contribution to building community, both locally and globally. We want to share our love for snow with all ages, from 9-99, and to usher our youngest enthusiasts into the outdoors with the same passion, drive, and confidence that we have,” says Gurecki.

Shining the spotlight on those who know that doing anything “like a girl” isn’t an insult, and who strive to push their boundaries — our new YOUth line is designed to get the next generation on skis and snowboards, writing their stories.

This Kickstarter campaign will not only help fund production of YOUth line of skis and snowboards, it will help build the foundation for a community that spreads confidence and inclusivity to future generations of skiers and riders.

Supporters will also have access to exclusive perks, including the opportunity to name a ski or snowboard line after your favorite young ripper.

More details on the campaign and the YOUth line of skis and snowboards can be found on the Coalition Snow website at www.coalitionsnow.com. Stay tuned for launch in one week, March 8th!
