And that’s a wrap for Thredbo for 2023 as the resort announced today they will not be turning the lifts tomorrow.

The Cruiser area was all that was left today of a lacklustre snowfall season for Thredbo and Aussie ski resorts.

However with mega warm temperatures this week, the resort decided to pull the pin on 2023 and look forward to the summer season instead.

They announced the decision on their social media this afternoon.

“Well the time has come and we are officially wrapping up skiing and snowboarding for winter 2023 two weeks early.

Mother Nature may have kept us on our toes but we had a LOT of magical times this season! We couldn’t have done it without all of our incredible staff and guests! Our people are what makes Thredbo so special and we can’t thank every single one of you enough

From tomorrow, the lifts will not be operating for skiing and snowboarding access. However the Kosciuszko Chairlift will still be spinning for backcountry, snowshoe and scenic access in the meantime.”

That’s Selwyn, Buller and Thredbo closed now for the season.

Hotham is on limited chairlifts as is Falls Creek and Perisher.
