Black Diamond release three part avalanche safety video series

Black Diamond athlete, Mike Barney, has been a ski guide for almost 20 years and spends nine months of the year guiding in the mountains. He knows his stuff and has partnered with Black Diamond to create a three part Backcountry Beta series to share his knowledge and avalanche safety skills.

Pull up a YouTube seat as Mike shares how to read an avalanche forecast, use a beacon and utilise your probe and shovel.

The three part series can be watched on YouTube or via the Black Diamond website. In no way do these videos replace an in person avalanche training course but they act as a great intro guide or refresher to help keep you and your crew safe this winter.
