Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam returns to Mt Buller

For the 13th consecutive year, Australia’s best snowboarders will descend on Mt Buller to compete in the country’s longest running snowboarding rail event, the Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam, for a share of over $10,000 worth of cash and prizes on July 21.

In 2018, Burton is offering a completely new and improved viewing experience, with the event being live-cast on the Burton Australia Facebook page.  All the action will kick of live from 6pm, including a wrap of up the day’s qualifiers, at facebook.com/burtonaustralianz.

From 2pm, the Mt Buller Village Square will transform into a qualification battleground, with a qualifying jam session taking place on a refined Cattleman’s rail set up.

The top 10 qualifiers from the day’s heats will then compete against previous competition winners, including five-time champion Jye Kearney, previous champion Sam ‘Reddog’ Nuemann and last year’s runner up Andy James, for a share of the $10K prize pool, as well as the Monster Energy Best Trick award.

G-Shock will be also be offering the ‘G-Shock Tough’ award, a brand new accolade offering the most committed, hardest charging rider on the night a limited edition Burton x G-Shock watch valued at $750.

Finals kick off at 6pm with free entry, crowd giveaways, music and more.

Corona will be presenting the famed Burton Cattleman’s After Party at Moosehead, Mt Buller. This year’s after party will feature a roaring DJ-set by Total Giovanni, notorious for their unique and highly energetic shows that whip venues in to a frenzy.
