You know you’ve made it when you check in to a Como Hotel & Resorts property. The luxe hospitality brand is the brainchild of Christina Ong, and is committed to both personalised travel experiences and holistic wellness.

Now skiers and snowboarders can experience the COMO magic in one of the world’s most stunning mountain locations, the majestic Dolomites, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site.

The COMO Alpina Dolomites opens its doors on December 7 in the picturesque town of Val Gardena on the Alpe di Siusi, one of Europe’s largest high-altitude plateaus. The hotel features 60 thoughtfully designed rooms amongst towering peaks, sprawling valleys and alpine meadow.

You’ll ski-in and ski-out on the Dolomiti Superski circuit thanks to it’s slope side location, and the resort also offers expert instructors for those wanting guidance.

When it comes to design, natural materials take focus including a facade built using original quartzite natural stone and a roof embraced by a wooden structure, the design emulates the natural movements of the terrain and mountains.

The resort champions the freshest local and regional products, curating a menu that fuels alpine adventures. Guests can choose from a variety of dining options, including the bright and casual Alpina Chalet in the fresh mountain air, the intimate Sassolungo which is dedicated to the art of healthful dining by COMO Shambhala Cuisine.

The relaxing Lobby Lounge is the perfect setting for drinks and small bites as well as a complimentary afternoon tea served each afternoon.

Holistic wellness is one of the core pillars and the hotels COMO Shambhala Retreat offers an expansive wellness programme that includes a 22m indoor pool, a 7m panoramic outdoor pool, sauna, relaxation zones, a fitness centre, and a beauty sanctuary.
