Always planning your next trip to the snow? You need to put the 2024 Snow Travel Expo on your calendar.

This free event is packed to the rafters with snow travel experts from over 70 resorts across the globe – including Japan, Canada, North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and China – so you can decide on your next adventure by talking to those in the know.

Plus you can source the latest snow gear, get a front-row seat to presentations and enter to win the most incredible prizes.

From where to go and what not to miss, here’s your guide to all the Snow Travel Expo fun.

Where and when

From 9am to 4pm on Sunday May 19, the Snow Travel Expo will be in Melbourne. It’ll then arrive in Sydney one week later on Sunday May 26.

Find the Melbourne show at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in Southbank, and look for Door 10 once you get there. As for Sydney, you’ll be heading to the ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour, Hall 7.

In this cost of living crisis, there’s not much that’s free anymore… except for expo entry. You’ll get a fun day out plus you’ll go in the running for a stack of amazing giveaways, including:

Beyond representatives from ski resorts all over the world, there’s also a stack of snow travel specialists offering up the best deals on the day. Plus airlines, heli skiing representatives and retailers selling the best snow gear.

Don’t forget to stop by the Ikon Pass Après Lounge to grab a glass of champagne and understand more about the destinations the pass unlocks. Or the Colorado Mile High Ski Bar & Photo Booth for a cheeky drink and souvenir picture.

You’ll find the Snowsbest team patting the Saint Bernard dogs (and definitely not on the climbing wall).

The presentations

From the time the show opens at 9am, all the way through to close at 4pm, there’s a line-up of experts scheduled in for the day, giving their personal insights into their destinations and adventures; from the best working holidays in Canada to the ultimate places to ski in Japan, and so much more.
