If you know Thredbo then you know the Basin ski area high on the peak where the snow is dry and fresh and perfectly groomed. Now imagine having private access to the Basin before everyone else does.

Every Tuesday from July 28 to August 25 you can, thanks to the new First Tracks Club.

Hop into the snowcat at the base of the resort and head straight up to Australia’s highest restaurant, Eagles Nest, for a sunrise breakfast. Once you’re fuelled up you’ll unlock 30 minutes of private access to the Basin area, just you and your fellow First Tracks Club members.

Best of all, you’ll get first tracks down Thredbo’s Supertrail, the longest piste run in Australia.

Meeting times are sunrise dependent so expect to be dressed and ready to go any time from 5.45am to 6.20am. You’ll need to be an upper-intermediate or advanced skier and snowboarder to tackle the Supertrail ride down. Helmets are mandatory and you must remain with the group when skiing/riding.

How much for this exclusive opportunity? AUD$299 per person. More info here.
