Seems like only yesterday Whistler was a mere pup of a resort mountain. This coming winter season will be the 60th season for Whistler Mountain and the 28th year of Whistler Blackcomb (merged in 1997)
To celebrate a mighty big six oh, the resort is officially launching Wonder Routes – a collection of seven self-guided tours designed to showcase the very best of both mountains.
Guests are invited to explore the mountains through Wonder Routes, a curated network of trails, waypoints, and stops designed to uncover hidden gems and iconic landmarks. From weaving through glades and cruising mellow blues, to reliving Olympic glory and exploring family-friendly terrain, the seven Wonder Routes offer something for everyone.
From the Top of the World Route to the Gold Medal Route, the Family Certified Route, the Alpine Sampler, Glade Stashes Checklist, Super Blues and Après Route (our favourite).
Each route is colour-coded and includes turn-by-turn directions, guiding skiers and riders through scenic viewpoints and cultural touchstones for a seamless, personalised experience.
