Australia’s most respected ski industry manager, Belinda Trembath, is set to expand her global role even further.
Vail Resorts has announced the appointment of Belinda Trembath to an expanded leadership role overseeing both Whistler Blackcomb in Canada and the company’s Australian ski resorts, effective 1 November 2026.
A highly respected mountain industry leader with over 30 years of experience, Trembath will continue to lead Whistler Blackcomb, one of North America’s largest and most iconic mountain resorts, while taking on responsibility for leadership of Vail Resorts’ Australian business – Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham.
The leadership change is part of a broader alignment across Vail Resorts’ global Mountain Division, designed to strengthen collaboration and create greater consistency across the company’s international resort portfolio.
Trembath has played a significant role in the development and growth of Vail Resorts’ Australian operations as GM of each resort when she was based in Australia, and is well known across Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham for her strong operational leadership and commitment to guests, employees and local communities.
Nathan Butterworth, Vice President and General Manager of Perisher, and Richard Phillips, Vice President and General Manager of Hotham and Falls Creek, will continue leading resort operations in Australia and will report directly to Trembath under the new structure.
