Australian ski resorts fight it out for the best early bird 2015 season pass offers. Who wins?

The battle for next year’s ski dollars starts now as Perisher, Thredbo and now Falls Creek and Hotham and Mt Buller release their early bird season pass deals luring skiers and boarders with seriously cheap skiing with added discounted extras.

We’ve outlined what you’ll get from each resort if you book now.

Be careful, some deals are better than others so read the fine print.

The Hero Pass from Falls Creek and Hotham

How much?

The pass is AU$749 for adults and $429 for children (6 to 18).  The deposit is $199 or $99 paid by October 1 2014 and balance due April 30 2015.

Sale ends?

October 1. After that season passes will be $1549.

Thredbo 365 Pass

How much?

The pass is $699 for adults and $399 for children (up to 18 years of age). A deposit of $99 per pass must be paid by September 15 and balance by March 31, 2015.

Perisher Freedom Season Pass

Perisher launched with a $699 early bird pass in August, it has now increased to $729 and will continue to increase as each sale period ends until it reaches the full price of $1588.

How much?

At time of print it is $729 for adults and $419 for kids up to Year 12. A deposit of $199 or $99 will secure the pass and the balance is due May 4.
