Britt Cox wins gold in first World Cup of mogul season

Australian mogul skier, Britt Cox, won gold at the first FIS World Cup of the 2017/2018 season in Ruka Finland overnight. The 23 year old scores the yellow bib at the beginning of this season, the same bib she held onto throughout the 2016/2017 season finishing with the crystal globe.

She won at Ruka with a score of 80.32 with Audrey Robichard from Canada taking silver and Marika Pertakhiya from Russia taking third.

Cox is the current FIS World Champion for moguls and a medal contender for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Her first place podium takes the monkey off her back after her last record breaking season.
