The Chumpy Pullin Foundation is offering not one but two Snowboard Cross Scholarships in 2024. The mentoring foundation founded to support the late Alex Chumpy Pullin’s commitment to inspiring and motivating youth has partnered with Thredbo and Hotham to offer one scholarship at each.

The scholarships are open to youth aged between 13-17 years for SBX training and development for Snow Australia pathway programs, and each scholarship is up to the maximum value of AUD$5000 (excluding accommodation, lift pass, transport etc).

Applicants must be active in snowboard competitions in Australia, have an ongoing commitment to full time participation in a local snow sports program, must have participated in a snowboard cross event in the last 12 months and show authenticity, courage, inclusiveness, sportsmanship and passion.

The application process is via an online form and a creative submission of any kind (artwork, video, letter, song etc) outlining applicant’s interests and story and why they love snowboard cross and their future goals. They must also provide two references from community, professional, sports coach.
