Wanaka local, Kiwi Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, has secured yet another prestigious podium, finishing in second place at the Mammoth Mountain Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle World Cup.

She put down a solid first run with great variety on the rails and a super smooth switch backside 900 on the first jump to take the lead with a score of 82.50.

USA’s Jamie Anderson landed a strong second run to bump Zoi down into second place.

For her final run she put together a technical and stylish run but she unfortunately came unstuck on the final jump attempting a back 1080. Keeping her second place and silver medal position.

Anderson took gold and Japan’s Kokomo Murase came in with third place.
