First Perisher, now Mt Buller.

The Victorian resort is opening early for the 2022 season with lifts turning this Saturday 4 June thanks to the recent snow storm that dumped over 35cms at Mt Buller since Monday.

The forecast has even more snow expected, especially into this weekend.

Thanks to the efforts of the snowmaking team and Mother Nature’s gifts a limited number of lifts will turn this Saturday and the toboggan parks will be open for sliding.

The resort team is pulling out the stops to get ready a whole week early.  Resort entry and car permits will be operational from Friday evening, skiing and snowboarding will commence on Saturday morning and everything will be available to book and buy online

“We are so excited and grateful for this superb delivery of snow arriving right on time” said resort spokesperson Rhylla Morgan.

“Getting the resort open early is a challenge but Mt Buller will always open early if conditions allow. So many people have waited two long years to get back up on the slopes and we don’t want anyone waiting a day longer than they have to.”
