It’s been a week, well, it’s been a season (not). Thanks to warm temperatures, rain and little snowfall in 2023 Australia’s ski resorts have been closing earlier than usual.

First Selwyn, then Buller, then Hotham, then Thredbo, then Falls Creek, now Charlotte Pass has announced their early closing day for 2023.

The resort’s final day will be Thursday, September 21 as announced on social media late last night.

This leaves Perisher as the only resort still operating in 2023 as even Ben Lomond in Tasmania has finished up for the season.
