Scotty James wins halfpipe gold at season opener FIS World Cup

It’s a good day to be Olympic bronze medal winner, Aussie snowboarder Scotty James. The Victorian won gold in the season opening FIS World Cup at Copper Mountain Colorado today. 

James won the Toyota US Grand Prix FIS World Cup event with a 96.75 winning run on his third and final attempt to take the first place podium. Americans Toby Miller and Chase Josey took silver and bronze respectively.

Check out James winning run that included a unique switch crippler chicken salad in the middle section plus three consecutive double corks including a last hit frontside double cork 1260 indy.
