First look at ALDI’s 2023 Snow Gear range, on sale May 20

Elbows out, consider this a public service announcement.

After a hiatus in 2022, the ALDI snow gear sale is back. Put May 20 into your diaries, destination middle aisle for special buys.

This year the ALDI crew has dropped over 70 items for skiers and boarders and according to their press release you can kit out a family of four for under $1000.

If you do hit up the sale then you’ll find wind resistant outerwear with snow gear DuPont™ Sorona® wadding for added protection, plus all the jackets have fully taped seams to keep skiers dry on the slopes.

They are also filled with extra features – think media and goggle pockets with wipe cloth, snow skirts, hoods and pocket to keep a ski pass accessible.

We say ALDI has its place for skiers and snowboarders so don’t knock it till you try it. But don’t expect to get the technical specs you’ll receive with specialist ski and snowboard brands, because, well, they’re specialist.

And before you ask, no we did not receive any kickback for this article.
