The luxe Red Mountain ski in ski out chalet for $50 a night

Red Mountain Resort in Canada’s British Columbia is one rocking mountain that consistently flies under the radar which means more terrain for you. The resort has 2682 skiable acres across three mountains with steep powder filled glades and wide open groomers and another 19300 acres offered via cat skiing.

You’ll find the AirBnB ski in ski out gem, The Mountain Project #2, at the base of the resort nestled amongst snow laden trees.

One of ten three level eco homes in The Mountain Project, #2 is a three bedroom artisan design project that reflects mountain living, simplistic life design and a sustainable commitment.

The large open plan living, kitchen, dining, lounge and sitting room features radiant polished concrete floors and is bright, light and spacious and the hub of the chalet for post ski festivities, hearty breakfasts and afternoon naps. There’s two queen bedrooms with access to full bathrooms with bath and shower and a bunk bed room that sleeps four all with heat recovery ventilators for constant clean air.

For those wanting quiet time there’s an open sitting space on the third floor which can also be dedicated to the kids. There’s even a wood fired dutch hot tub for soaking weary ski legs.

The kitchen is a gourmet cook’s dream with high end appliances, four burner gas stove top and more. Those wanting an al fresco experience can utilise the barbecue on the balcony with mountain vistas.

During winter there is a shuttle that runs conveniently from the Resort to the main street of Rossland five minutes down the road. If you prefer to drive yourself the property has a heated garage and visitor parking.

Prefer your own leg power? The Centennial Trail starts right out front: walk, bike, snowshoe, or x country ski through tunnels to Rock Cut Pub and just a bit further to the City of Rossland.

But wait, there’s more. Free WiFi, Netflix and large screen Samsung SMART TV’s to replay the day’s action from your action camera and smart phones.

High thread count linen, Bogner toiletries, kitchen utensils and laundry are all included so all you have to do is show up. Groceries can also be arranged ahead of time at an extra cost.
