Australia’s Winter Olympic team were treated like coffee royalty in Beijing as the team from Locale Coffee Roasters set up shop in the athlete village exclusively for the antipodeans.

With a La Marzocco Linea Mini machine and fresh ground Locale Coffee plus a professional barista, the Aussies had a slice of home to keep them fuelled and ready to roll.

Now the team at Locale Coffee Roasters are auctioning off the very machine used in Beijing and signed by the entire Winter Olympic team.

Whether you want to level up your coffee experience at home or own a piece of Aussie memorabilia, this is the perfect machine for you.

Half of the winning bid will be donated to Givit Australia in support of people affected by floods in New South Wales and Queensland.

A new LM Linea Mini would typically retail for $7000+ and you have until June 24 to place your winning bid.

How to bid

Head to the auction page and start bidding.

Local pick up available from Abbotsford, VIC. Any shipping costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder (but the team at Locale can help to facilitate).

Machine specs can be viewed here.

Good luck!
