Another day, yet another airline sale. Yesterday was Qantas $349 one way to Japowland. This time Cathay Pacific have dropped an Asia sale for Australians flying to Japan this ski season.

Best news is those who want to discover the powder skiing and snowboarding of the famed Hokkaido areas (Niseko, Rusutsu, Tomamu, Furano, Kiroro and more) can fly return from Sydney to Sapporo Chitose airport from AUD$749 return. Melbournians can fly for even less from AUD$732.

Flights to Tokyo return start from AUD$726 flying in February or March for peak season powder and spring skiing in Honshu (Hakuba, Nozawa, Myoko, Madarao, Appi, Shizukuishi and literally hundreds more resorts).

Cathay Pacific flights depart from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, so do some searching on the site to find your lowest offer as part of the sale.

You’ll have to book by November 24. All flights are via Hong Kong and the sale flights are valid for travel from January 6 to March 19, so pretty much the best weeks of the ski season!

Even better, you get 30kgs of check in luggage.

It’s all part of their Explore Asia sale so get in quick. If you get yourself a decent fare then, you’re welcome.
