Alterra Mountain Company just dropped big news for skiers and snowboarders heading to Japan this coming season.

The multi-resort Ikon Pass already boasts access to Niseko United in Hokkaido and Arai Mountain Resort in Honshu. Now they’ve added seven more Japan resorts to the mix.

But wait, there’s more.

The popular Furano Ski Resort in the belly button of Hokkaido is on the pass. So is the under the radar gems APPI Resort in Iwate and Zao Onsen Ski Resort in Yamagata and the popular Myoko Suginohara in Niigata.

Plus, as an added bonus, China’s 2022 Winter Olympics resort and South Korea’s 2018 Winter Olympics resort Mona Yongpyong will both also be on the Ikon Pass.

Ikon Pass holders will have 7-days combined access at Shiga Kogen Mountain Resort and 7-days each at all other new Asian destinations with no blackout dates, and 5-days combined access at Shiga Kogen Mountain Resort and 5-days each at all other new Asian destinations on Ikon Base Pass with no blackout dates.
