Hot off the heels of her fourth place at the FIS World Championships in Deer Valley, Australian aerial skier and Winter Olympian, Laura Peel takes silver in Moscow. 

The 2015 World Champion qualified first for the event. She then won the first final and went into the second final as the favourite. 

She performed a double full full to score 97.64 and win silver behind Aliaksandra Ramanouskya from Belarus who won gold with 105.93 and ahead of Mengtau Xu from China on 89.88 who won bronze.

Peel currently sits third in the world standings behind Ramanouskya (second) and Xu on first. 

The Australian aerialist from Canberra is looking towards Beijing 2022 and is hoping to complete triples in training in the next 12 months.
