Lockdown lifted – Perisher reopens today and Thredbo this Saturday

    If you reside in the Snowy Monaro LGA then congratulations, you can go skiing. The LGA lockdown was lifted today at 1pm after zero cases in the last two weeks.

    Up to five visitors are allowed in to a home, up to twenty people can gather in an outdoor setting and hospitality, retail, beauty and gym businesses can reopen with social distanced restrictions.

    Perisher announced on their social today that they would be spinning the Village Eight from 1.30pm.

    Thredbo joined the action on social, announcing a return to skiing and snowboarding from this Saturday.
