No Facebook friends on a Japowder day

Some days I don’t like my friends. These are some days. When they are in Japan drowning in fat fluffy dry snow flakes that simply won’t stop falling and I am at my desk. Powder is my thing and clearly my invitation has gone missing in the post.

First there was Mark Tsukasov infecting my news feed with clouds of snow, but to be fair he is in Hakuba for the season so surely that doesn’t count.

Then there was Kerry Lee Dodd, her brother Steve Lee and the legendary John Falkiner rubbing it in.

Alexa Forbes hit Nozawa Onsen with her family (hubby Sean Drader took this pic). Can I get adopted?

It got worse when Christie Hampton arrived in Hakuba and started posting these.

Then Gina Woodward hit Snow Goddess Retreats for a well timed week. I think I have to defriend her.

Now Chris Hocking is flooding my Facebook feed with Cortina snow beards and powder bombs from Elk at Hakuba and Powdermania and quite frankly I don’t like it, or him, right now.

So my question again is, where’s my invite?

Do you have ‘friends’ in Japan enjoying the Japow pow right now? Send me their details and I’ll send the boys round.

  1. Hmmm, good to know I’m not the only one cursing my news feed this summer… still time for a sneaky last min trip, I’m hoping….
